Sonic always makes me think of my grandmother, Big Mama. When I was a girl, every now and then, we’d drive up to their ordering stalls and split a special treat of burgers, fries and a brain freeze inducing slush. I’m feeling nostalgic now because  ClickedIn™, a new group buying site, launched their first deal today: A Sonic Brown Bag Special:2 Burgers, 2 Tots or Fries & 2  Drinks for $5.99.  I’ll be calling Big Mama for a date this weekend.

What sets ClickedIn, a Time Warner brainchild,  apart from other deal sites  is that Time Warner Cable will donate 3% of the net revenues of every purchased ClickedIn™ Daily Deal to community organizations that connect young people to the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math. Its part of their Connect a Million Minds initiative.

A site where we can feed our belly’s and fuel other’s minds is a good sight, indeed.
